 Shaun, Lori’s brother in the Nashville Justice series, is a mix of imagination and research. I’ve drawn inspiration from real investigators—especially those with unconventional backgrounds.

His methods might not always be textbook, but they get results. That blend of street smarts and determination makes him one of my most compelling characters.
